Kay Daly provides communications and editorial support to CASEL by contributing to the organization’s school and district resource centers, creating case studies and research syntheses, and crafting key messaging and other marketing pieces. For the past 20 years, she has worked as a professional writer and editor for a range of companies and nonprofit organizations. She has created educational materials and lesson plans for WNET New York Public Media, the Metropolitan Opera, and McGraw-Hill. Prior to coming to CASEL, Kay spent seven years as a content developer for online courses for an education publisher. She graduated from U.C.L.A. with a bachelor’s degree in English and earned her master’s and doctoral degrees in English from Northwestern University. In her spare time, she persists in the never-ending process of finishing her novel. She lives in Chicago with her husband.
