Convening the Field
Back to topWe host opportunities to gather with the SEL community to share ideas, collaborate, and grow together.
National SEL Week
National SEL Week, our signature annual advocacy event, raises awareness about SEL among legislators and for the wider public through:
- The annual introduction of a National SEL Week Senate Resolution
- A congressional briefing
- Visiting the offices of members of Congress to discuss the importance of social and emotional learning
- Bringing student voice to Capitol Hill
The Exchange
Since 2019, CASEL has hosted the Exchange, the world’s largest forum for SEL. This annual convening assembles SEL experts and supports from around the world to connect, share knowledge, and set a path for future work supporting student well-being and success. Each year, the Exchange impacts around 2,000 attendees and presenters.
