The CASEL Implementation team translates research into practice by developing guidance, resources, training, and coaching that supports educators in ensuring that students experience effective, evidence-based social and emotional learning (SEL). This work includes:
We’ve developed field-leading guidance for school and district leaders who want to bring the benefits of SEL to their students, including The Guide to Schoolwide SEL, The District Resource Center, and Program Guide, and the SEL 3 Practices Playbook. Each site offers guidance and tools for advancing SEL in your school or district.
From a one-hour SEL primer to workshops to self-paced learning, CASEL develops and offers professional development to support individuals, schools, and districts on their SEL journeys. Topics include adult SEL, academic integration, the CASEL 3 Signature Practices for SEL, leading schoolwide SEL, and more.
Districts and schools partner with CASEL to develop long-term, in-depth engagements tailored to each organization’s specific needs, goals, and priorities. Many choose to engage in our Level Up program, which brings CASEL staff to your site to learn about where you are in your SEL implementation and create a personalized action plan to take the work to the next level.
From the SEL Fellows Academy and International SEL Fellows Academy to the Community Networks Partners, CASEL brings together educators committed to sharing knowledge, learning from each other, and working together to promote SEL for all students. Learn more about all our Communities of Practice.
