The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) announced that registration is open for the 2024 Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Exchange. This year’s gathering, the largest forum on SEL, marks CASEL’s 30th anniversary, a notable landmark in what has become a critical and vibrant field in education research, practice, and policy.
The SEL Exchange will be held in person November 12-14, 2024, in Chicago, Illinois. The three-day event brings together thousands of education leaders, experts, and influencers from around the world to share and deepen knowledge and spur practical innovations that advance SEL for all young people.
In today’s polarized landscape, education systems are facing unprecedented challenges to student’s learning and thriving. Educators, researchers, and policymakers are prioritizing SEL as an essential part of the route to recovery.
This year’s theme, Accelerate: Academic Thriving and Lifelong Learning, addresses these challenges, recognizing the important role SEL plays in driving forward students’ academic thriving and creating the spark that leads to a passion for lifelong learning.
