Director of Development. The Director of Development leads the development department and grows CASEL’s funding base – including individual, foundation, and corporate donors. The Director is responsible for ensuring CASEL meets its annual fundraising budget goals to support the broad adoption of social and emotional learning. The Director collaborates closely with the Communications team, works closely with Operations and Finance, and cultivates and maintains relationships that create long term sustainability and success for CASEL’s initiatives. Vice President of Communications. The Vice President of Communications leads the organization’s external and internal communications and marketing, both strategy and execution. The Vice President creates and executes high-level strategies to build the brand of CASEL and the broad adoption of social and emotional learning; leads and manages the Communications team; partners with the Development team on fundraising, and develops processes that create long term sustainability and success for CASEL’s initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Research-Practice Partnerships, and working closely with the Vice President for Research, the Research Associate for Continuous Improvement will help with planning and be responsible for execution of continuous improvement technical assistance with collaborating districts partners, collecting and synthesizing learnings from partners’ implementation process, and contributing to CASEL’s broader efforts to improve our understanding of systemic SEL.
