Across the country, there is overwhelming support and demand for social and emotional learning (SEL). Young people, educators, families, business leaders, and others are focused on the critical skills and environments needed for academic success, healthy relationships, and brighter futures.
Every year, SEL4US and Urban Assembly host International SEL Day, a day to come together to showcase SEL, promote it to our personal and professional networks, and advocate for it in our communities. This year's celebration is Friday, March 8 with a focus on Today’s Students, Tomorrow’s Leaders.
Given the unprecedented national attention and priority on SEL, we are inviting SEL champions to begin SEL Day celebrations early this year. Read President Biden's letter commemorating National SEL Week.
National SEL Week is a call to rally together online and showcase the powerful combination of support and evidence for SEL, culminating with International SEL Day.
