SEL Fellows Academy, Cohort 3 Application of Interest
What: The 10-month, virtual SEL Fellows Academy offers a unique opportunity for leaders from rural, suburban, and urban communities to strengthen their SEL expertise in community with one another. Annually, a cohort of up to 45 SEL leaders will be selected to participate and deepen their SEL practice at a personal, interpersonal, and institutional level. The cost is $6,000 per person for the entire engagement.
Who: You must be employed by a school district or regional office of education in the United States and responsible for leading SEL in their community.
When: Your time with us will include three dedicated hours per month for community gatherings.
- Cohort 3 will launch in August 2023
- Full group sessions: September 22, October 20, November 1, January 19, February 23, March 22, April 19, May 17
- Peer inquiry circles: October 20, December 8, February 23, April 19
- Cohort 3 will conclude on June 21, 2024
Why: This opportunity benefits the entire district and regional office community. With a new or enhanced plan for SEL implementation, a capstone project to benefit students, and continued access to the broad CASEL network, SEL Fellows will have expert knowledge and guidance to share with their communities.
