The Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning Act of 2011 (HR 2437) introduced by Representatives Judy Biggert (R-Ill.), Dale E. Kildee (D-Mich.), and Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) will promote quality implementation of evidence-based education, and help to ensure that all students achieve their full potential and preparation for life.  We the undersigned scientists who conduct research in the field of child development support this vital piece of legislation.
