New Collaborating Districts

On December 8, CASEL recommended the selection of five new districts for the Collaborating Districts Initiative and NoVo Foundation invited the districts to apply for a 2-year planning grant. They are:

• Chicago Public Schools, Chicago, Ill.
• Oakland Unified School District, Oakland, Calif.
• Sacramento City Unified School District, Sacramento, Calif.
• Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, Nashville, Tenn.
• Washoe County School District, Nev.
