CASEL is governed by a Board of Directors. Led by President and CEO Roger P. Weissberg, CASEL Staff and Consultants carry out the mission and daily activities of the organization. CASEL regularly collaborates with faculty and staff from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) on a variety of projects. This UIC SEL Research Group has training and experience in a variety of fields. Directed by Dr. Roger P. Weissberg, this group is involved in research, product creation, educator preparation, and policy development. CASEL also collaborates with scholars, practitioners, and policy makers from around the world on specific projects. This larger Collaborator Network includes about 100 especially accomplished educators, researchers, policy makers, and others who actively collaborate with CASEL projects and activities in ongoing ways.
